The Full Story:
My name is Charan, and I am the father of a baby boy born to my wife Shikha on 02-Oct-2025 at just 27 weeks of pregnancy. Our baby was born extremely premature, weighing only 970 grams — classified as an Extremely Low Birth Weight (ELBW) child.
He is currently admitted in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Girraj Ji Children Hospital and has been diagnosed with Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS), a life-threatening condition for preterm babies. He is on ventilator support and requires continuous medical care, medication, and monitoring.
We are from a humble background and cannot afford the high costs of NICU care. The estimated expense is around ₹ [5Lakh, based on hospital estimate], which includes NICU stay, ventilator support, medications, investigations, and follow-up.
